Quoting Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum | Boeing B-29 Superfortress &quotEnola Gay&quot:

Boeing’s B-29 Superfortress was the most sophisticated propeller-driven bomber of Globe War II and the first bomber to residence its crew in pressurized compartments. Though made to fight in the European theater, the B-29 identified its niche on the other side of the globe. In the Pacific, B-29s delivered a range of aerial weapons: standard bombs, incendiary bombs, mines, and two nuclear weapons.

On August 6, 1945, this Martin-constructed B-29-45-MO dropped the very first atomic weapon used in combat on Hiroshima, Japan. 3 days later, Bockscar (on display at the U.S. Air Force Museum close to Dayton, Ohio) dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan. Enola Gay flew as the advance weather reconnaissance aircraft that day. A third B-29, The Great Artiste, flew as an observation aircraft on both missions.

A waterfall in the forest. Final week an young man died at this waterfall. Downstream from right here a powerhouse feeds into the stream from the dam upstream. When I visited it right now a big beaver popped out from inside of it.

About the Photo
*Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS *Lens: EF-S 18-55mm ƒ/three.5-five.six IS *Shutter Speed: N/A *Aperture Value: ƒ/11 *ISO: one hundred *Focal Length: 18mm (28.8mm Equivalent in 35mm film)

I shot this on a tripod utilizing mirror lockup, a polarizing filter, and a 2Sec. selftimer. This image is composed of eight different exposures, a single typical exposure, three 1 cease overexposures, and 4 1 quit underexposures. I initial opened the RAW files in ACR and removed the chromatic aberrations and did slight sharpening. Then I opened the RAW files in Photomatix Pro and tone mapped them to my liking, but I could not get an HDR with all of the highlight and shadow detail I wanted so I make one HDR that was underexposed and showed highlight detail and I produced a single HDR that was overexposed and showed shadow detail. I then opened the HDRs in CS4 and double processed them collectively by mixing each one’s highlight and shadow detail. Then I removed some distracting branches with the clone tool and burned the tree trunks darker in the background to give the image more order. I slightly saturated and darkened the pine needles on the ground to make a greater contrast with the green pine needles. I lastly converted the 16 bit TIFF into a Jpeg and converted to sRGB colourspace to upload to the world wide web. Given that I double processed two HDR images I am calling this technique HHDR.

River Rocks

A clear river flowing more than rocks in the winter. This is a tiny sliver of the Saint Mary’s River near the edge of the rapids. This stretch of rapids is prized for trophy rainbow trout fishing with rainbow trout being caught weighing a lot more than 20 pounds. The creaking of the ice I was standing on made me nervous as I was taking these shots.

About the Photo
*Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS *Lens: EF-S 18-55mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 IS *Shutter Speed: 2Sec. *Aperture Worth: ƒ/22 *ISO: one hundred *Focal Length: 18.0mm (28.8mm Equivalent)
I shot this on a tripod making use of mirror lockup, a polarizing filter, and a 2Sec. selftimer. I processed the RAW data in Adobe Camera Raw and removed a couple of specks of dust and distracing rocks in Photoshop CS4 Extended. I also employed the sponge tool to bring some vibrance to the rocks beneath the water in the foreground.

Can a person inform me what the next full cease down of aperture value is from ƒ/32?
